  3. cheers mate just started a storage charge and 1st cell reads 4.17 2nd cell 4.16 3rd cell 3.97 ........ 3rd cell seems to be way out...
  4. crashed my foamy and my lipo went flying seems to be some damage but not sure what I should do and if it needs replaced. the damage looks superficial to me and there is no swelling. can I cover the bits that are showing or just leave them be cheers guys.......
  5. Gorilla glue or epoxy that's what I have been using on my foamy gorilla glue expands and turns into a concrete type foam.
  6. I have a hobbyking decathlon brushless trainer and its been fantastic love flying it I used glass fibre and epoxy to strengthen the inside of the cowl changed servos fiteed a thicker 3mm steel rod bent to shape and some foam 60mm wheels of ebay for my LG and it is far better for landing not brilliant but doesn't keep snaping my props. but today I went out in to strong a wind and after about 3mins a big gust of wind sent it into a downword spiral nose first into the ground bent the nose, broken prop and a couple of big pieces of foam from my fuselage where ripped out due to the wing being pulled off. luckily the motor is fine and no bent prop shaft the wing is fine and the decathlon will take a bit of epoxy some blenderin tape and a bit of work and away she will go again. even though I don't like crashing have to say I enjoy the challenge of putting it all back toghether. next for me is going to be a Fokker wulf 190 balsa kit. if you are looking for ideas for your cub try rcgroups it has threads on every type of plane going that's where I found out about everything I needed to do and watch out for with my Decathlon. my decathlon only cost 80 dollars and a couple of bits and bobs well worth the money for my first plane had some fun with it and a few heart attack near misses. lol..... homemade CG balancer wheels I got from ebay 60mm foam
  7. dont believe it was out flying my decathlon when the wind picked up sending it into a spiral nose first into the ground.

  8. the only fast thing about that is how quickly you will need to buy new parts.

was thinking of the hot glue but raping the servos with tape first suppost to be easier to remove.
