  11. Half the issue for people is cost Nitro is chuffing expensive to run..... Not just Fuel - its airfilter and fuel filter maintenance - and glowplug and then the neighbours getting arsey and say to go away or call the police..... You stay out and NOWT happens I Love my Nitro - i love how much easier they are to drive Vs electric The power band is much much smoother, there is a satifisying thing about the noise and the fact its an actual engine Electric i do prefer for quietness (keeps neighbours happy) and its alot cheaper to run too Hell i could charge off the car battery - and probably hardly feel the fuel consumption off it... If i was going out bashing - the nitro i could drive there - bash - drive home Electric you defo gotta carry.... Ziggy
  12. Usually when a door locks itself when its unlocked, or its random when it does/doesn't lock Often related to the Door locking mechanism - Most now electronically done My punto was a bugger for locking the door when i pulled the outside handle, even though i JUST unlocked it New 2nd donor door lock unit = Fixed A c200 Merc did a similar thing, the passenger door would Bounce up and down (lock knob thing) Randomly ending where ever the hell it likes.... i believe that had a new central locking unit in that door too = fixed Tbh getting the door apart and having an inspection is the best option if your capable Just be careful incase you have door airbags... ziggy
  13. Ha Sooo True Wonder how well it'd actually work though? Getting an adaptor to fit driveline would prove hard.... Also of the time though its impacted torque not spinning torque Ziggy
  14. Got my battery recharged / conditioned Got the New ESC bullet'd and Traxxased connections Done Firmware Upgrade Done Software Upgrade Calibrated EPA back into the rustler and finally been able to enjoy some summer fun! Missed it an awful lot... Glad its back Ziggy
  15. I'd happily give mine up for the Nitro side.... if the clutch wasn't shot and the fact the engine dont run either Ziggy
  16. Any pics of how your currently setup? As for the situation ur in, it would suggest its that youve got an excessive lean caused by the air leak Also when refitting - did you slacken the pinch bolt on it? Ziggy Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
  17. Seleay do a kit like that Has short and long setups that pop into an adaptor and a 3/8th ratchet I have snapped 1 of a hex version cause I applied pressure in wrong way Ziggy Sent from my GT-I8190N using Tapatalk
  18. New XCar 120A Esc has just arrived Ziggy
  19. Well thats the thing - you wouldnt make a Brushless car heavier, so i'd be leaving it as if you were fitted out as the required
  20. Okay so the servo's aren't proving to be the problem just yet - in the sense of strength Have seen servo's fail to work on the floor, but work fine when actually running / in the air Does the servo on its own - move fully left and right and center's every time? Disconnect the linkage - but leave the horn on - so you can make reference marks visually Ziggy
  21. Its cool a RC shop actually has tracks inside for you to play on.... Shame i dont have any decent shops around here no more... Ziggy
  22. HA! Thats brilliant..... But who let BEZ have a pair of scissors though?
  23. lets keep it a clean chat to start with Comments Below - but dont get your Knickers in a twist In an identical setup hyper 7's (as close as you can get, Same tyres, diffs, Pinion size etc), except 1 is Nitro and 1 is Brushless Which one would win a tug of war? Ziggy
