  1. So I tried it on the car and it doesn't turn the engine over, when I push the car down the starter box wheel just stops. Is this likely to be caused by the motor ? it's second hand but appears to be in good condition .
  2. Will give it a go tomorrow and let u know. ta
  3. Ok, so the battery is now fully charged and I can still stop the spinning wheel with my finger so I doubt there is any chance it'll start a engine. What could be the issues? I'm guessing it's probably the motor but I don't want to buy one incase it could be anything else?? If it is the motor though, what motot can I replace it with anyone know? Thanks
  4. Ah yeah. It's on now......Hopefully it'll work after
  5. Thanks Locky I use an imax b6 so fairly sure it won't do 12 volt.
  6. Thanks for the reply. I've just turned it on and the wheel actually spins as is but I can stop it with my finger so I'm assuming the battery is knackered? Also I don't have to push anything down to get it to spin, it just spins is that right or not? Regarding the battery, how can I charge the one that's installed to see if it ok? I have no leads currently just the box.
  7. Hi All, I've bought myself a second hand starter box a Hobao one but I'm struggling with the wiring a bit, well alot! I'd like to run it off 2 x 7.2v batteries but on opening it up it has a fixed 12volt battery attached to it. I'm not sure how to even get this running as it is or to convert it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to change it over to run on 2 7.2v batteries or just how to run it as it is. I've attached a few pics to show you what it currently looks like. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f33jqw0cmuv33yr/2016-12-01 13.44.07.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/xw5x83vgrx3vz00/2016-12-01 13.42.22.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/skyoxrfp3v12540/2016-12-01 13.42.13.jpg?dl=0 Thanks Rob
  8. There both broken in so sounds like a plan The problem I have though Is I don't know what plugs they take. one is missing the pull cord - that says hyper 21 on the side of the crank case, the other has a pull cord and says hyper 21 turbo on it and has a H on the side. Any ideas?
  9. Hi, I've downloaded the manuals the trouble I have is I'm not sure what version of the hyper .21 I have? I've found 2 different manuals with totally different settings. Not sure which goes with which?
  10. Hi All, I've read up about the above but I've discovered that there are a few different types some turbo and some not. I have 2 x .21 Hyper Engines , one has a H on the side and the other has hyper 21 on the side. Please can someone help ID them? I'd like to know which Glow plugs they both need (recoendations welcome) and also the factory Carb setting for LSN & HSN Many thanks
  11. Thanks Do you mean Part number H21024?
  12. Hi All, Can anyone assist.......below is a pic of the rear to a hyper .21 engine which I've been goven. Is it missing the pull start and shaft or is this what a roto start looks like (never seen one) https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcgx34xsio9kkl9/2016-11-07 18.40.41.png?dl=0 Thanks
