Installing the electrics was a breeze, the esc tray has mounting holes which line up with my max8 esc so it bolted into place perfectly. First problem was the servo saver was so loose from the factory that my front wheels would not turn at all. Basically the whole front has to come apart to tighten the saver screw properly. But once it had been tightened it hasn't given me any problems.

Iv has this corally Kronos xtr for two weeks now and thought it was time to start a progress thread with some thoughts of the RC. Iv ran roughly 15-20 packs through it so far. These have got some seriously negative reviews on YouTube so I thought I'd give my honest unbiased opinion. At the time I purchased the improved 2022 version was available at £400 but I opted for the 2021 version which was on sale at modelsport for £299, I don't really jump or skatepark my rc's so the £100 saving was appealing. Electrics used are the max8 2200kv combo and a power hd 32kg servo.

I absolutely loved that stampede, looked absolutely awesome with the trenchers and that bodyshell. But i was just breaking it every single time I was using it. The smallest things everytime, but I think I was just expecting it to bash like my arrma rc's I had at the time.

Started the running in of the sledgehammer today seems like a powerhouse of an engine, then cleaned the Kronos as it was a bit dusty from its last outing...

I loved every minute of owning mine. Only thing that put me off in the end was having to run dual lipos. I prefer using 4s packs.

Spent the morning with the Kronos xtr, has by far exceeded my expectations.

Spares are available but not in stock anywhere in the uk. But most bits are available from the states.

I was surprised, it's borderline bonkers, wheelies for days.

First bash with the xtr this evening, I'm very impressed. Seems seriously quick with the max8 2200kv system on 4s.

Took the sledgehammer out the box and gave it a quick once over, will be sat next to the Kronos for a couple of weeks until I save up for some bits to run it in😂

Well not the postie but I went to a family barbeque last night, mentioned to a family friend I'm into RC. And he's only gone and given me a brand spanking new thunder Tiger sledgehammer s50. It's never been been used and hasn't seen a single drop of nitro.

Spent the morning installing the electrics and getting the Kronos xtr all dialed in. Seems a very well engineered RC so far.

The Kronos xtr turned up this morning. Along with the max8 2200kv combo and a 30kg power hd steering servo. Has been the first time in a while that iv had a box fresh build with everything brand new. Hopefully get it all setup for a first run over the weekend.😍😍

Complete Typhon 6s v5 package up for grabs. Comes with spare proline mx38 badlands, dboots hoons and the original tyres. Comes with the charger pictured and the overlander 5000mah 3s lipos. Was purchased from modelsport less than 3 months ago. The complete package including the hoons and proline badlands cost over £800. Has had very little use and is in extremely good condition. Comes boxed with all manuals and accessories. Price is £400 for the complete package. Collection from leicester.
