these little devices and likes run small 40mm - 80mm pc fans, they tend to be the cheap brass bush bearing design, in hot weather and running they tend to get a bit squeaky/noisey, tbh they should be on a thermocouple to a temp sensor, with an adjustable override to ramp them up or down when user requires

Mine also makes a noise for about the first 15/20 seconds of charging, I've just got used to it now because it doesn't get hotter than normal and still operates fine.
