Curious if this is just a GOM chassis. That thing looked complicated and people using them show they snap pins and shafts easily. Looks nice though.

No, GOM chassis does not have chassis rails, it's a tube frame built around a central skid plate

The new truck's chassis is more like the Sawback/Komodo - but it looks like the new truck uses different rails
The driveshafts for the BOM look to be new too

I really want to see a Harley kit build before I commit. The GOM build really put me off after seeing how complex it was.

The GOM was a tough build because of the framework and the gearbox - there's was a lot of faffing about to get the shift/dig working.

Otherwise, the rest of it was painless - It certainly wasn't the most enjoyable build I've ever done, the dig/2 speed took a lot of 'getting right'

IMO the BOM will be fine - I've built pretty much every GMade truck (or at least one variant of each chassis) and the GOM was the toughest/most tinkered to get right.

The new rig has an optional (sold separately) 2 speed so, out-of-the-box, it should be a breeze to build - It's pretty much a Sawback 4LS/Komodo with fancy rear suspension, chassis mount servo and a bit of caging?

I'd give Harley a wide berth and wait for some decent unbiased build opinions

If you keep an eye on the GMade site (not Junfac) the manual should be available to download soon - they got it listed in the manual section now, but no PDF yet...
Scroll down until you see the manual front pages (no idea what's up with the site)

I'm aware Harley can be biased but it's still a build I can watch to see what fiddly sillyness a kit may contain.
