  1. To anyone who may read this May I suggest caution should you be interested in this Baja 5b. The seller agreed a deal with me yesterday after having agreed a deal with another member on here. I've asked for the seller to send me more pictures and on with his name and forum ID against the car. To this time he has not provided this. The asked me to pay by paypal which I've declined to do until I get better proof of ownership. This was also listed for pick up from Stevenage on ebay yet on here he wanted pic up or sending from Derbyshire! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HPI-baja-5b-RTR-vgc-cash-pick-up-/110746820087?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item19c9065df7#ht_500wt_1202 I've withdrawn my offer! Be careful out there!

  2. Hello, This guide will be instructing you how to 'belt' your tires. Belting your tires includes adding a strip of "Gorilla tape" or fiberglass tape to the inside of your tire to stop it from ballooning when used with high powered RC's such as 1/8 brushless systems. You want to stop the tire ballooning for several reasons, the first is that when your tire balloons, it has very little surface area with the ground causing handling to be very poor and wearing your tires unevenly . Another reason is that if your tire balloons a lot, it can tear the tire all together! Things you will need: Gorrila tape or fibre glass tape scissors sand paper advised: surface wipe or soap Step 1 on order to make the Gorilla tape adhere best to the tire it advised to turn the tire inside out and sand it down slightly. Its then advised to clean down the surface thoroughly either with a suface wipe or just throughly with water and a bit of dish soap the end result should look like this Step 2 the next step is to simply wrap the central part of the tire with the Gorrilla or fibre glass tape. It is not necessary to wrap the whole tire twice round although it is advised to leave a slight overlap to help ensure the tape does not come undone And there you have it, fully belted tires ready to be bashed or raced! Hope this guide was of any help

  4. No, tbh the standard setup is fine for I'm using it for, which is informal runs around the park. A faster motor would just result in the car ending up in a puddle quicker

  9. My Mip CVD's are holding up well. I broke one pin but it just needed a pin to sort whereas the stock shafts were ruined. Also the MiP's have no flex in them and it makes a noticible difference as the truck wheelies much more frequently now even on a single 3S pack.

  10. You are not alone with this problem. Have a read through this thread. http://www.msuk-foru...mmit-dont-work/ Most breakages occur when the the drive pin comes loose in the joint and begins to slide out. Constantly checking your drive shafts for loose pins and using thread lock on them will help reduce failures.
