  1. Don't take it personal fella, some people are just a little sharper in their opinions than others. I understand what you say about rtr and race rollers looking similar, and they do to an extent. What you can't see is the extra work gone into making them better. Chassis, steering/suspension geometry, it all counts towards making the difference between a basher and true racer. Whether they're twice as good ain't for me to say but it just depends what you're wanting it for. Again, saying a Hyper handles like a pile of junk compared to a race buggy is a little extreme, I'm not saying they would be the same at all but if all your doing is a few jumps down the park, you won't know what you're missing.

  2. Hey fella, I honestly would advise against the Mini LST2! As you have a 1/16 E-Revo VXL the Mini LST2 is a big step down, I do still love my MMB (MLST2 SE) but they have serious diff issues and they will not hold up to 1/18 brushless let alone 1/8 brushless. The whole drivetrain will need upgrading in a Mini LST2 inc. the centre diff (ball diff recommended), dogbones to CVD's and a Losi Dual Disc Slipper. That's just so the truck can handle and distribute the power, then there's the front & rear diffs. There's ball diffs or shimming the stock Mini LST2 diff, all of this is going to cost you a small fortune and I for one think your money would be well spent else were. Can't comment on the Rascal, never even seen one.
