You must have had some speed on, to strip it so smooth all the way round

But yes it is quite common

Usual reason is on throttle landings

Engine is rev'ing hard an the wheels stop all of a sudden as they hit the floor together

It may not always go straight away, an can shock or chip a tooth, an then break later on, but that's a common cause

Another is donuts

That can do the same thng, diff is working over time, then stops all of a sudden, an the engine is still rev'ing hard

Or it can be as simple as hitting a rock or something, an sending a shock

Its a pain, but its good to have something as a built in weak point, or it cold send the shock to the diff or something else

Mark you hit it on the head there, i was doing lots of doughnuts and landing while spinning the wheels lol, ooops never mind new one on its way and some carbon fibre bits for the rear brace and brake woohoo

Some advice if i may Gav? You see the engine cover, take the dremel to it and cut it back, it stops grass getting caught under it there fore helps cooling

Went out this morning with the baja (without getting beaten up )

Went to the m5 motorway over the Avon river and there is a very ruff course area to i took the Baja on it!!!!

Right went out today to Tellytubby Hill. What fun we had

First the c clip came off the front wheel so had to chase it down the steep hill.

Burnt a few calories lol

About an hour later while playing the tyre came flying off ouch.

Its called Tellytubby Hill at Cribbs just behind the Peugeot garage. its very hilly and lots of jumps too hehe

After the strip down i found this, so its maybe some thing to do with forgetting to put the washer back in

The clutch and carrier is fine, just i forgot the washer behind the spur gear lol
