mixmasterjay
sounds like either the clutch behind the clutchbell OR the mesh between the spur gear and the clutchbell is too tight , but could be wrong , can you move the clutchbell with your fingers nice and free or is it tight ? when all in the car (off of course lol) and does it move the spur gear ? if its not that then it qould be a gearbox problem as they are known for weak gears in the gearbox , the middle gear strips and sometimes locks the gears up and the small gears in the diff its-self strip sometimes too as they are made from cheap soft alloy Edited May 6, 2010 by mixmasterjay
KYOSHOKEV
sound like the clutch srping has snapped mate take the clutch bell off and there should be a spring wrapped around the clutch shoes it either going to missing or stretched if it stretched just shorten it a bit if it missing or snapped then you need a new one its stalling as soon as the engine goes under load.
