Throttle return spring..

I fitted a Traxxas throttle return spring to my Hyper ST the other day but it's not strong enough to close the carb. I tested it by holding the TX at WOT then disconnecting the receiver pack but the carb doesn't close..

I fitted it like it is in this pic:

Is there anything else I can try?

no, it basically acts as a failsafe. Infact they are better than failsafes, as they cant go wrong, and still work if your battery falls out happy.gif

wont do bugger all if u go out of range tho ;)

Springs/elastic bands put extra strain on your servo!!, cause your batteries run down quicker too ,fit a fail-safe, tape up the battery connectors, keep out of water and then if it goes out of control your just unlucky
