I agree with Quantra, try the slowest class first, even if its for a short period of time. Theres alot less room for error indoors, if you go for the faster classes, it will be harder to set up, harder to drive and you will probably crash alot more meaning you will be spending more time fixing the car than running it.

Hi All, just getting back into RC after a long time off. I have a savage 25 which is missing loads of screws, Does anyone do a full screw set for the 25?

i was under the impression that the throttle return spring was only supposed to close the carb when no throttle arm is connected?

i just had the engine out on my sav, and i will defo echo the words of the terminator, its a right pain to work on, to be honest ive never liked the look of any traxxas cars, thats why i went for the savage, however its only ever been a pain in the neck to me, so if it doesnt work out this time, i may have to take a serious look at the revo, seems like the obvious next choice.

Nope, never used after run oil or blocked up the holes, to be honest, i thought id never use it again, the thing was stripping spur gears every couple of runs and i kept bending every chassis i bought (only ever bought the standard ones). started to get a bit annoying, so i chucked it in the garage and that was that. Obvioulsy regret it now, as i cant just get it out and use it.

Hi guys, been out of rc for a few years now, and although i wont be going back to racing, i do have a savage 25 in need of some tlc. First up, i need a new engine, i have an old STS 28 at the moment but considering it hadnt been used in a fair number of years, its probably completly knackered. I will be opening it up at the weekend to see what its like inside, how ever i thought i may aswell start looking for an engine now, what does everyone use nowadays? I dont need it to be perticulaly fast, just something that will get me going again. Price range, i dont want to be paying over

Work came home done bugger all since Pretty boring day to be honest. Got a better day tomorow tho.

And how are companies supposed to continue to develop there products to make them better, and stay in business if they never release a new one. Personaly, i wouldnt buy it if i had the old one, people choose to buy the new cars so the companies will continue to release them. If there is a demand for a new car every season, why wouldnt they want to release one?

Out of intrest what charger is it?

First you will probably need to join the BRCA (some clubs let you race a couple of times before you join, just to see if you like it). You will then get a handbook with all the rules and regs in it. To be honest, most clubs are fairly relaxed on the rules when its just a club meeting, and you wont have to have your car checked over after every race unless your doing a national or something similer. Not sure about the club. Go to www.brca.org and click on clubs. That will tell you where your nearest club is. You will love racing, especialy when it is just a club day when everything is relaxed, no one is in a rush and the atmosphere is just that little bit better.

As a games consol i think its brilliant. Ok so a few more games need to be released so it can get better but at the moment i think is really good. If your mostly going to play blu-ray stuff, and not games tbh i dont think theres any point in getting it, its just not worth that amount of cash for just playing dvds. Go the HD-dvd route.

If it was military, it doesnt neccasarily need to be taking pictures, it could be a whole load of things. Also if sky does find out it was a mil aircraft, dont expect the MOD to release any details other than ''traning'' even if it wasnt.

Well the ram is falling out the bottom of the laptop. Ill give it a try but it maybe more than screen damage.

If indeed it was a mil aircraft, i wouldnt think anything more of it that a training excersice. If it wasnt, then there could have been problems with the aircraft its self, or maybe even problems at the airport. Doubt it would be a problem with the aircraft tho as they would never tell them to circle for that long unless it was maybe a landing gear problem.
