Hello everyone, been a long time since I last posted on here, my nephew is getting an Ansmann Blizzard for christmas so I wanted to buy him some parts for it nothing major like brushless motors etc maybe just spare wheels or some sort of hop up. My question is will what wheels fit it? or are there any worth while hop ups? Any help will be appreciated Thanks

Another stupid question but how do I know when its peaked? I just put it in my car and ran it down so shall I just put it on at 2amps for 84 minutes

I have just put the charger back on at 2 amps but straight away it come up as 8.22v I havn't got a clue whats going on now lol isn't supposed to be 7.2v as a whole pack or is it 7.2v per cell? so 7.2v x 6?

what about the battery voltage and charged capacity? Or shall I just wait until it gets to 7.2v and then turn it off?

I was discharging them as I thought this is what you had to do after using them and before recharging them but I was obviously wrong lol. So its ok to charge it up now then? Is there any recommended current to charge it at? thanks

8.9v was the charged capacity according to the instructions / charger display

The battery is new (about a month old) its a stick pack but I just re read the instructions and realised I was reading the display wrong the screen now says 6.26v as the discharged capacity and 00640 battery voltage, I stopped the charger because it had dropped to 6.26v but I don't know what to do know tbh. I don't know what im looking for to tell its been discharged completely I thought once it got to 0v it was discharged but now im guessing thats wrong.

Hello everyone, my iMAX B6 arrived today so I had a quick read of the manual and set it up to charge at 2a its a 2000mah 7.2v nimh battery, I done a quick calculation and found it should take around 84 minutes however within minutes it said the battery was at 8.9v. Now it could be me being stupid because I havn't used my cars for years but it just seemed wrong so I reset the charger to discharge the battery at 0.7a and its currently at 7.13v when it gets lower shall I lower the discharge rate? Also whats the deal with the battery saying 8.9v is it me being stupid or was something set up wrong?

Just a post to keep everyone upto date I ended up buying an iMAX B6 off ebay

I have re read the instructions for the engine and reset all the needles to the factory settings, checked the glow plug & starter and put fresh fuel in and still nothing happens, however I noticed this time the carb seems to stick when I apply throttle on the servo

I have reset the LSN & HSN and also adjusted the idle, im going to seal the engine next and see if this makes a difference but I dont know what sealent to use.

I just rang my local hobby shop (Antics) to see if I could take it into them and pay them to have a look but they will only do this if its bought from them the guy on the phone gave me the same advice as you guys so im going to seal the engine and see if I can find anything that doesn't look right I have read the manual a few times and tried everything in there. Would it be worth changing my glow plug even though it is lighting up when I put the glow starter on it? Is there a specific brand or type of high temp sealent I should use? thanks

I've just spent an hour trying to get it working with no luck at all. I warmed the engine with a hairdryer opened the carb whilst blowing through the exhaust tube until fuel without bubbles reached the carb I took the glow plug out and put it on my glow starter and it lit up fine I checked my carb is 1mm open I marked BDC and always tried starting from this point and I got nowhere at all. im using model technics fuel 25% I emailed the seller who said it was working fine when it was posted
