you can cut Titanium alloy with a hacksaw, it's just whether you want the bad finish. Titanium allow is actually quite nice to machine with. Al alloy, look for 7068, L168, L160. 6082 (L111) is a medium strength alloy but I'm sure it would be good enough.

Hi, quick question: I got the LST2 out from deep storage and found that the two servos are shot. Can someone recommend a good drop in replacement that are not too costly. Thanks in advance

I have another question: The default ESC setting is to Auto-Lipo. I assume this is still fine if I am using a nimh, as it just sets a cut-off voltage.

opened the box!!!!! What a sweet looking bit of kit. Had a battery in it just to do some initial checks. A bit noisy, 'cog' noise, is this normal? The mesh looks good.

hurrahhhh, RTR ordered through Modelsport. Price matched also, great stuff. Going to use some of my nimh batteries (got a 10.8v 4500mah one for my rustler) until the next pay day and I can order some Lipos.

Ok, in this 'expensive' country can someone tell me where to get Lipo batteries for a reasonable price. I see a lot of recommendations for Hobbyking but then also a lot of people getting stung by 'Her Magisty' and the post office.

i'm taking a look at the nano-tech 6000mah 2s 65-130c lipos that AJ got, and for the price they look very tempting. The hobbyking Europe site seems not to have much, so I assume they come from the states? How long does delivery take? Also I assume the chargers listed above will do them justice. Apologies for the questions but I have only run nimh batteries to date. I will probably get a pair as I could also use them for my erevo (assuming I change the connector on the losi) Thanks

If this is the case then that looks like quite a good set up anyway. Had a quick search for this kit and it isnt cheap. Though I appreciate price doesnt necessarily mean quality.
