jackariusjones
if the red springs are harder/stiffer then yes go for them..they'll let ur engine get to optimium performance before seting off, giving better acceleration.. and only two bolts holding ur clutch on
Rev_Head
That's a def NO! i replaced mine for the 8000 RPM spring and shoes (HPI upgrade clutch kit) 1.The throttle becomes so unresponsive i.e. You have IDLE or WOT . 2 . The clutch shoes wore out in a day . I will not be buying those again .In a word (Waste Of Money) i kept the original clutch and just went with the 29 cc big block conversion .I can OWN a 26cc marder with a Samba pipe all day . spudski
The red clutch springs and clutch shoe set what comes with the SS are a great hop-up, winds the engine to 8k rpm and then the car slingshots off the line in affect. Awesome parts, works well with my rear dom and 23cc uber ported engine.
