Was running my blackout mt and cut off, when got to it the pull start was stuck solid, took the pull start apart and can move the flywheel by hand, the trouble is the flywheel seems to turn but then gets seized again, seems to be hard to turn sometimes other times is free, got spark and fuel I believe, the plug was black when inspected, it won't start..

Did I damage my engine? Any help appreciated is my first 1/5 scale. Thanks

your coil will have probably dropped down and be touching/rubbing on the flywheel mate,

remove the fan case cover and regap the coil and all should be well again,

coil gap should be 0.3 to 0.5mm

Thanks, I took fan cover off and the screws in coil are really tight and the coil itself is not moving, I'll try taking the screws out, just worried if I break them, do you know if a bad clutch can do that? As in getting flywheel stuck, otherwise might suspect new engine or something.. Thanks again
