Hello Everyone!

I am currently working on Arrma Kraton 1:5 and I would like to share with all of you my progress.

I replaced the whole electronics with our MGM CONTROLLERS and LMT motor. For this project I choosed 250A ESC and a motor LMT 3040 (875kv) running on 14S. For this motor I used 20t pinion gear and I kept using default spur gear with 47t.  But I have a small problem with top speed, its still too slow in my eyes. I ordered a motor with a higher kv but also, I would like to ask you if you have any experience with similar rebuilds or with the gearing, I am new in bigger scale cars and I think that the gearing is one of the most important things. I have placed the ESC in the same place where was the default Spektrum ESC with an additional mount. I have been fighting with external capacitors but I think that the place upper the servo was the best choice. I must say that the variable battery trays are really good. It is really good work from guys from the Arrma, when they recommend you to buy their batteries they give us the option of choosing longer batteries.

I have attached a picture of the mount for ESC and motor which were designed especially for the Arrma Kraton. Also, I have attached a few more pics with Arrma.  The biggest problem In designing was the space. Arrma doesn´t have enough free space and fitting our ESC into this car was really difficult. What do you think about mounting?

As I said I have a small problem with speed and I would like to ask if someone has this car and what speed did you achieve?

Wish you a lot of speed during the next runs!
