Fixing paint bleeds / overspray - tips!

Murmles

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Doing my first body shell and had a few issues with my masking and paint bleeding under it.

Any tips on fixing? I saw a guy masking off and Using tamiya polycarbonate cleaner to remove the excess.

Any alternatives to the Tamiya stuff?

Want to tidy up before hitting with the white.

Cheers,

Martin

I think that's your best option, mask up and use the Tamiya stuff. I've used it in the past with a cotton but and lightly gone over the area. Brake cleaner also works but it's a bit more savage on the plastic and if it runs into the rest of the paint... You'd be in an even worse situation then!
