I had  no luck with a Tonegawa. The first one broke within minutes, not even sure what caused it and the second one had melted gears. Didn't even make it one lap before that died.  Whatever they make them from now isn't the same as they used too. If it wasn't for the previous recommendations I'd call them junk.

 

I just gave up and run a JX 60kg with power direct from the lipo now. Its been super reliable, taken everything I can throw at it. Will happily go around the track all day every day.
