Thinking about my first ‘road’ RC.

I have a couple of Arrma RC’s but after watching some videos with a HPI WR8 and Hobao Hyper VTe have been thinking about adding an on road car to my small collection.

 

The only ones I’ve really looked at are the two mentioned above, although the Kyosho Inferno GT2 Ve looks interesting as well (but I think it may be slow on the stock setup ?).

 

Just looking for any advice/suggestions.

Requirements are RTR and electric, It’ll be used for driving in parking lots but the capability to do a speed run to a decent top speed would be great. Budget is around £500’ish for the car.

I have had a go with the GT2 VE its very fast to me, i cant comment on the other 2. shells are beautiful.

Arrma Typhon 6s with road wheels and tyres..?? £100 in change to spend on mods..

I have a Typhon 6s with GRP Evo wheels/tyres, s5 compound.

 

It just doesn’t want to powerslide/drift. My Talion does OK with Katars that are worn down to slicks, but I’m looking at something that’s more setup for this style of driving.
