Hi guys,

I'm wanting to put a 17t pinion on my Kyosho DRX VE. The genuine Kyosho on is a bit pricey, would this one work ??? I dont mind paying the extra but if the cheaper one will be just as good then i'll go with that one.

Thanks

If it's Mod1 pitch then yes,  gds are alright.. (Generally all 5mm bore are mod1)

These are fine as well:

Handy for various terrains and finding your sweet spot.

I bought this one thought with it being Traxxas it would be good quality and its pretty cheap

The last Traxxas one I bought shattered it's teeth. Their hardened steel was brittle.

Was a 14T from a XO1 so hopefully the larger 17T will be more robust.

I'd never buy a Traxxas again.

The best I've used so far have been Novak for me but they've shut up shop.

Depends how you drive. Mine went when I landed from a small speed bump with the throttle on.

I have however never bust any others doing the exact same thing.

Technically supposed to land without throttle and then gun it, might have survived that way, I'll never know :D
