cupra313 Posted February 8, 2018 Author Share Posted February 8, 2018 Started with the front diff It has good quality grease in it,which surprised me to say the truth...I removed it anyway.I use heavy duty marine grease on all my cars The diff itself had a thin silicone in it and it had the correct amount-ish Clean thoroughly the crown gear!!I can not stress this enough!Clean it and re clean it!It has a red-brown dust type gunk maybe from machining maybe from something else.Doesn't matter,the gunk in the isnside of the crown will go in your diff and on the outside eventually it will find it's way on the gears,clean it! Filled with 30k Marine greased Put a thin layer even where there isn't any gear meshing,the grease drives the moisture away 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
