30 dnb buggy thread

WS have just emailed dispatch confirmation of kill switch, might even get tomorrow, in time for its tear down.....Very tempted to try this on a proper track, something I swore I would never do with largescale !!.

Should be interesting how reliable the stock set up is, I have thought of another set up

if required.

They are compatible with the magic lipos !.

the k power really are beasts on lipo I have them in my dbxl, wonder what size lipo will fit

What you get is a 6volt nimh, shoe horned into the battery box, wall charge with an Asia style plug and the UK tourist adaptor. Very basic, the Nimh would take a lifetime to charge with this set up. 

Best option, couple cheap lipos and a half decent charger from Hobbyking.

None on mine, have you had a leak in transit, diff or shock ??.

I think diff in transit quite a lot but can’t confirm until I take the front apart

Thought that might be the case, hopefully my kill switch will arrive tomorrow and get it fitted.

My prefered switch is the Super Bee, but no stock, I have a Dynamite on my 5ive and has been no issue.

Details as follows for bat back dimensions, these are conservative,

 

130 x 52 x 25mm, don’t think a hump pack will fit.

 

This is the nimh with the model,

 

 

The battery and rx boxes have decent size holes to thread cables and plugs through, not struggle or have to drill your own, only downside could be moisture intrusion.

Just had another look and the engine will definitely have to be removed for the installation of the kill switch.

Did you receive a pack of these,
