Cockneygeorge
Hello Right I'm a baja person but my 8 year old son wants a electric rc off roader, so just some good advice for a beginner car to get him and which? Preferably with spares on tap just in case. Lol Thanks
johninderby
What sort of budget? And to to clarify when you say off-roader do you mean something scale looking or rather something that will be fairly fast. John
Cockneygeorge
Hello John Budget £150 - 200 Something like a buggy? Speed average for beginner I guess Thanks
johninderby
Perhaps something like this? Pretty tough little car that will stand up to a fair bit of abuse and not too expensive and would leave enough money to buy some spare batteries and a decent charger. They come with a NiMh battery but a more modern LiPo battery will improve performance if you wanted to later on. https://www.wirelessmadness.com/ecx-amp-1-10-2wd-desert-buggy-with-2-4ghz-transmitter-black-yellow-ecx03029it1?keyword=Ecx Edited July 9, 2017 by johninderby

XV Pilot
Mad Bull? Very simple and rugged, outstanding long-term spares support, and a lot more capable offroad than most buggies thanks to its oversize wheels and tyres.
