Raddish
My son has Bering showing more interest in rc stuff lately and has been getting some good practice with a e revo.He wants to try out the local tracks, we have 2 near by, and a 1/8 nitro buggy seems like the best option for the tracks. I have been looking at RTR as I don't really fancy sinking loads of money into a car if it's just going to sit on the shelf. I have been looking at getting the Losi 8ight RTR Anyone give me any ideas if they are goood? I like the idea of building a tlr 4.0 at some stage if he takes to it more, if not I will just use it along with my other rc toys
locky
Losi are good, 4.0 being the latest. Why not visit the club/track and see what they run and maybe he cant get a feel and possibly get a go. Buying second hand worth considering. So not brushless?
Raddish
Thanks for the reply. So what chassis is this this https://www.modelsport.co.uk/losi-8ight-nitro-rtr-1-8-4wd-buggy/rc-car-products/406879 I take it is not a 4.0... He wants nitro really, I use nitro in some aircraft so he has an interest in it.
locky
I assume its the 4.0 but RTR version and not race kit, so wont have all latest hop ups/upgrades.
