Motor and esc 6s for 1/8 truggy

eBay yes mega cheap , leopard 2000kv looks fast have u any experience with them !!

I had a Leopard 2000 4074 a while back in an E-mta and was pretty good and quick enough.

The one above is the same motor rebadged.

Don't get the 4082 2000kv as that is a D wind and only rated 5s and is power hungry.

Just change the esc and run it till the motor pops just remember to adjust your gearing !! Then get the leopard 2000kv 4282

Hiya fella. Have you ran the 4282 on 6s? The specs say only 5s max as it's a D wind not a Y

Not sure what motor your on about but this is the one I'm referring too and it's good for up to 9s and yes I have used 6s plenty of times .. There are also plenty of other guys that gave used 6s as well just look on you tube

Although to be fair this info may or may not be quite correct as the motor can size is wrong ! But this is where I buy mine and if they say it can then that's good enough for me .. I have not had one go pop on me running 6s ..

But then I also found this and it starts d and is good for 25v so that would easy cover 6s so who knows ?

Should have tried mine out on 6s before I sold it then :( It was a D so I was sure it only did 5s :crybaby: lol.
