Evening everyone, havnt been on for a while due to moving house and having no internet.. but iv finally got it.

Having a right nightmare at the min trying to get spares for my Kyosho AXXE, mainly the spur gear, MS never have any of the parts in stock, everywhere else is expensive. soo can anyone shed light my questions:

Best place for spares (UK based) for kyosho axxe

Are there other companys that i can use for parts for example using traxxas parts on my kyosho.

Anyone know of metal spur gears for the Kyosho axxe, its currently a 91T with a 27t pinion,(currently running metal pinion on a plastic spur and the plastic spur doesnt last long, espically on brushless)

Any mods I should do?

Will post pictures later

cheers

I use MB Models for my Kyosho spares, competitive prices and excellent service. They have a large stock and will get to order any parts they don't very quickly, best to call them if you don't have the part numbers.

Inside line racing. I was looking for parts for my DXB buggy and found these guys. Not used them for a year or so as I sold the buggy to get my Glamis Uno, but they were quick to send stuff.

Just been looking through the links and i cant see anything for the Axxe, seems like everyone stocks everything but Axxe parts. For those who dont know the Axxe is part of the Kyosho EZ Series, so when looking for parts dont assume searching for axxe will bring up results, EZ series seems to be the most common search result but still doesnt show UK based suppliers.

Next question is, how do i set my ride height with upgraded shocks? Main problem i have is that the angle of my drive shafts seem too steep, recently resulting in the drive cups wearing out and also makes the buggy at low speeds appear to be bouncing, Once the car is above half throttle the car sits lower and runs smoother, which im assuming means that the drive shafts at high speeds are running alot straighter due to the car dipping down. Can i cut the springs and achieve a lower ride hieght or am i going to run into problems?

oh well, i get parts for my dbx ve from there and the guy is really good, although i am on the lookout for a chassis and he aint got one! An idea might be to buy a second hand roller for spares. I think i might do the same!
