Hello everyone!

A friend of mine is looking into rc drifting, and I've always been curious but never taken the plunge...

I already have a pair of wr8's that can get plenty of angle on a decent powerslide, even with grippy tyres on, but as this is technically a 1:8(or 1:9 for the fussy scale accuracy guys) it's a bit large and not much variety available.

We are both stuck on hpi and a bit PCs about things so the choices of chassis boil down to either the e10 or the sprint 2.

Now I don't mind either option, as the shell will be bashed around and probably have a shelfer shell for at home, nor am I afraid of a bit of tampering with gearing to make a sport or flux a drifter, but I would like to be sensible in my decision and get something that can be slowly upgraded as and when necessary.

E10 drift, sprint 2 sport, sprint 2 drift, or sprint 2 flux, is basically what I'm asking, and for the winning chassis, is there anything that would be silly to not upgrade immediately?

It's not going to be raced, and there's no clubs around so the smooth Tarmac at Costco will be the track ;)

Hi mate I got the sprint 2 caemero

And it's a great car

Can take a real bashing

My mst is to fragile for outside use

First thing I would do is lock the rear diff

As the sprint comes with lots of adjustable parts

There's not you need to buy

Apart from loads of tyres

the only basics for any carpark drifting is rear locked diff and some drift tyres. There is lots of bling out there but thats your choice. there is also other thing to potential think about. but not necessity unless you want to go further into all.

front one way

cs kit

shock springs and oils

sensorless speedo and motor.

i would run what you have and practice and have some fun pal
