I have one more WRC shell tucked away, bought to replace the basher shell, it's unpainted and once again its the McRae stickered one, the plastic spoiler I did get around to painting way back, but not the shell itself. McRae was my all time favourite, I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet as i don't want it to get used or damaged, when I have a nice space to store/display it I'll finish it off.

Ps, what shell is that, 2 door WRC or 4 door? I had a couple of later WRC Nitro cars with the 4 door shell a Tamiya and kyosho but nitro wasn't for me.

sorry about the pic but it is the only one i have. it is for a kyosho.  but it fits perfect on a slash.  only used a couple of time so is still near mint.  cost me over

Ah, I was in Wales in 2003 on the last stage when Petter won the final rally and beat Loeb to the championship by one point. We were staying in the same hotel as Petter and the subaru world rally team. The night before the final day, they had a wedding on in the hotel, lord knows how he got any sleep, we couldn't get to sleep for the music; crazy.

My friend was a huge Tommi Makkinnen fan, think it was Tommi's first year with Subaru after so many with Mitsubishi. They had a life size cut out of Tommi in the foyer in Subaru livery, my friend took of his mitsubishi jacket and put it on the cut out. We were taking a picture of him with the tommi cut out clothed with the mitsu jacket when lo and behold Tommi and the SWRT walked in to the hotel lol. They all laughed, we chatted for a couple of minutes, he signed the back of my friends shirt which he has kept unwashed as a souvenir! I didn't see Petter, but we ate downstairs and his entire family and wife were on the table next to us.
