NDOR (Notts and Derby off road club)

Was a really good day, even with my car problems. Metal sealed bearings are a definite no go for running in these conditions. :/

Rear diff was crunching/grinding because of the fact it was full of sand/sludge which had passed through the poorly sealed bearings. Also explains why the car was so tail happy as the rear end was dragging so badly off throttle.

I've just cleaned all front out, proper sandy! All seems good though. Bearings on the shopping list I take it?

afaik =  As Far As I Know.

The stock car tracks are part of a different club. I'm not sure what their rules are regarding practice sessions. Our astro track is open for practice every Saturday  and most Sundays though. :D

Well my mates can be a bit iffy about running in in damp/wet conditions but if the weathers ok we'll probably pop down, spose I best start prepping the blackout and the hyper just in case.
