Hobbyking Sabretooth Truggy 1/8

Fitted the shocks,

A straight swap, only mod is to replace the stand off bolts with a 30mm one.

 

Done a drop test. The old shocks would slap the deck at knee height. The new ones are now just hitting the ground at nipple height.

y does the right on look bent. .

Just a wee update;

 

Been having fun with the Sabertooth, and it has been reliable.

Apart from snapping a rear hinge pin.

That's epic. I've bent a few on Chevy Carnage but never snapped one.

My bashing is not in question, FTX plastics are lol.

Well, some have had problems, that's for certain. I haven't really experienced the full cheddar, I must be one of the lucky ones lol
