shdaxner
The engine should be adjustable on the mounts, you can move it side to side and maybe back to front. Undo the relevant bolts and you should be able to move the engine so that the clutch and spur are meshing.
djandyh
hi there, i cant move it anymore, so am guessing the clutch bell is to small
shdaxner
You sure it will not move anymore? If not then I found that clutch bells were a trial and error thing, all brands seemed to be slightly different sizes and some would fit some wouldnt....I suggest you check your current clutch bell and see if you can find another one, same brand but larger. Smoothybb
The adjustment isn't great on the x1crt chassis, probably 10mm max. 16t might make it bit sluggish on take off, not sure what I got on mine. There's a thread on here where mixmasterjay was running a 14t, even managed a 13t by the sound of it: http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/118484-losi-clutch-bell-on-hong-nor/ If all else fails, a round file could be used to extend the slots on the chassis but others seem to have managed to run a 14t. djandyh
cheers for that, am gonna have a spare chassis, so for saving money, i could just do that, unless i have a diff rent type of spur on it, ive not counted it yet
Smoothybb
Not sure what the standard spur is, ahh, wait, google will know (I shouldn't ever type "I don't know ever again"), it's 62t. Maybe someone has converted as per Bez's advice here: http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/156650-hong-nor-x1-crt-brushless-conversion/ The 46/48 probably comes from X1CR? If you do have the smaller spur, I have 62 (I counted 63 ) if you want to swap.
