scrumpy jack
Just finished a Clive Cussler book which are always fairly entertaining (the movie 'Sahara' with Matthew Mcconaughey was based on one of his books) The main character 'Dirk Pitt' is kind of like an underwater Indiana Jones mixed with James Bond - he specialises in underwater archaeology! lots of really over the top action adventure stuff, which is always nice escapism. autobutcher
Just finished The Forgotten Soldier, about a 16 yr old French lad that was conscripted into the German army in 42 and ended up on the Eastern Front in the Grosse Deutschland Division. Poor sod doesn't have a clue what's happening until it's too late.
Alex97
I've only read a few books (not ones I've been made to read at school) the whole way though but I really enjoyed The damage done : twelve years of hell in a Bangkok prison. I normally get mid way though then never touch it again but I couldn't stop reading this. Its a great read.
