What's a good replacement for a Velineon VXL 3-s ESC

My Slash 4x4's ESC is dying and I'm in need of a new ESC.

I don't want to buy another Velineon but also don't need any extra power than it dished out.

I'm running 3S.

 

What would you recommend, considering I want to keep the motor as it works fine.

as above, pretty good esc for me so far and others rate it well as well.

 

i would look into buying a motor as well, that traxxas stuff is just utter crap in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I've ordered a SC8 which should arrive tomorrow.

 

I ordered it bundled with a 4000kv motor, but I'm not sure if this motor will be better than the standard Velineon one.

Higher KV so more top end when geared right. Would it be a tenshock can by any chance? If so, they are rather damn fine
