I'm building a shorty but I haven't cut my chassis as much as you, I think it was 43mm I cut off mine still use the one set of holes to bolt the rear chassis on and drilled new holes for the other bolts.when I reading up on them first I noticed a few different sizes ,I just left steering servo in place ,pushed the tank up to in and cut from there. I expected trouble from fitting throttle and rx but they just seemed to fall in to place,I only new it was 65mm after I measured the off cut lol . I shortend an fg awhile ago just so say I've done that,it was mental fun lol I did notice when I tested that the ftx wheels do help as there heavy compared to Baja wheels ,so seem to stop wheelies Edited August 24, 2013 by ravenguard Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
