Smithy111
All was going well with the brushless D8 I bought until I put the two standard size 2S lipos in and tried to fit the shell which wont as the lipos stick up to far Im not going to cut a chunk out of the shell as it will look crap and the lipos will be exposed. Now im thinking due to it being a D8 that the vorza shell should drop right on and be able to clear the lipos as it does in a vorza?
Toxic Basher
I imagine it would but its a fair bit wider so would overhang. I think the losi 8 shells fit I had them on my d8 but it was a tekno converted brushless d8
mydoddy69
Take buggy and lipos to your local shop and see what they have that fits best or you could just be wasting cash on a shell that may or may not work for your layout
Smithy111
D8 and Vorza are basically the same car. Vorza is just a brushless D8, width wise they are the same, just the rear body post needs to be spaced forward from what I can tell
j_seyfarth
You are correct Smithy111. I have the Vorza on my brushless D8. Fits fine with the rear body post from the vorza also.
Smithy111
Cool cheers for confirming mate, off to order a vorza shell!
djr2096
You could try D812 shell, The Pro line Bulldog or the HB Trick shell!! No the Losi 8ight shell won't fit. The D8 is wider! Edited May 27, 2013 by djr2096
