Euan Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 The fuel filter needs to go between your fuel tank and the carb. You can use a thin cable tie to attach it to something....stops it bobbling about. I have also heard of people using another one to go between the exhaust and the tank....it seemingly stops "backwash" entering your tank..........not as important IMHO. Ziggy122 Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 the backwash will not harm the car really... backwash is just unburt oil from the fuel been dragged up due to 2 things 1.
