whats the 3rd bit of tubing for? the oange one?

Looks good thoug :good:

filler tube

because, unlike a car, you can't access the fuel tank and it doesnt have an opening top, you have a third tube that you connect a pump to and fill the tank

Both me and my dad finished running our engines in today so tomorrow we'll stick em in the plane and if the weather's good, give em a bash

also was bored while waiting for the engine to cool down so modified the design of the run-in table a bit, and put some "safety signs"

lol,

how boring is break in eh,

dont ya just hate it :(

yup

but it's all over now :D funny thing was, with plane engines the break in procedure is to run the engines at WOT for 2-3 minutes and then let cool down, you do this for about 3 tanks.

on the last run of the last tank we leaned the engine out a bit and it started to pull the table along the floor, i had to hold it back while it was running :P

nearly had a flying table

she's all finished now and waiting on some lead weights to balance it and a new glowplug

unfortunately i had to take the camera off for now as it wouldn't balance correctly with it on, but don't fear, it will go back on after a few test flight's, once im used to the plane
