Just Realised How The Cold Makes Plastic Brittle!

well i was driving my monkey uo and down jumping on my homemade ramp, got some nice jumps and a back flip, I return to my starting area, floor it and i turn the wheel the wrong way and crash into a pile of bricks the builder had left!

I always find myself breaking parts far more often in the winter. Temperature has a big effect on plastics.

Yes plastic is more brittle in winter, i have heard that if you boil the plastic in a pan first then it sofens it slightley and is slightley more flexable, but not 100% confirmed, i do it anyway, when washing my car down...

Hi.I just took the MMM'd summit out in the carparkm broke the tie rod end. Must be colder than I thought :\

I broke a part on my firestorm, i think it was because of the cold, yet the day before, the car took one hell of a bashing! obviously weakened it and the colder temperature had an effect !

I have got 2 new parts, one for spare, and i boiled both of them for 1 hour
