When setting the 1mm+/- idle stop gap, do you set this with your throat insert fitted or before you fit the insert? HATZY Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 you can bench set the gap by pushin the throttle closed by hand then adjust the idle gap, then when you put the engine back in the car you will need to set the throttle linkages up. depending on how the throttle link is designed on your car determines which method would be easiest Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
