iamweasel Posted October 3, 2011 Share Posted October 3, 2011 Is it me, or does the old rustler not have a slipper clutch? if I am going brush-less, what are the slipper clutch options? can i just get a slipper clutch and a-OK or do i need to upgrade anything else? Matt B Posted October 3, 2011 Share Posted October 3, 2011 Ideally a whole VXL transmission would be the best idea. The older one had a peg style slipper which was only suited to brushed motors. The slipper plates, slipper rebuild kit and new style spur should be the ideal upgrade for the older clutch. A VXL transmission can be bought from ebay.
