Aarrgghh.......

Did some work on my D8Te last night, finished a few final bits like the cams and brake linkage but run into a snag...

...bloody sensor wire for the Tekin is too short!

I don't know what to do, I don't really want to run it without but are all sensor wires the same?

Not been able to run my D8 as I'm waiting for a my new starter box and better weather. Have had a couple of goes on my D8E though.

Happy to report she's better than my E-Trophy was in every way

@drj2096 : Is that a Turnigy Trackstar ESC in your D8E? How you finding it, I've got one coming for my MBX-6Te....

I've not had an email of dispatch yet for my Tekin sensor lead, never used the online seller before but hoping for an email today!

Yep that's a Trackstar. For the price it just can't be beat if you ask me

Didn't like my Spektrum radio on setup though!

Was that calibration issues? What did you do to resolve it or did it just work after some trying?

Yeah calibration was an issue. Was a right pain at first.

Tried messing with my trims but was no help.

The way I got it calibrated was to walk away about 10 foot from my buggy & bam it calibrated! :shockingscary::hahadance:

How or why id when I walked away from it I don't know. I was told that should not have mad a difference to it what so ever, but it worked for me!

Does anybody with a D8T need any stock parts, mainly the Nitro parts but I have a brand new still sealed chassis too!

I also have Turnbuckles, hexes, shock towers, wing mount, a wing, mug guards, centre CV driveshafts etc etc.

If so PM me before I stick them on eBay. :

Just odered some HBS67820 D8T long shock ends from the USA. Couldn't find em over here.

Had to get some to give my D8E some extra droop on the front end, cause if you use the Trophy/Lightning arms the shock mounting holes are futher away from the shock!

Finally got some decent wheels for the D8Te, unfortunately it's still not running due to my lack of soldering skills...

Pro-Line 3.8 Truck Badlands on Maximizer beadlocks.

Might try them without the Mugen extended hexes, with the 1/2" offset the wheels have plus the extended hexes the D8Te appears slightly to wide IMO.

What do you say guys?
