theknowing Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) yeah it was pissin me off then my mate turned up reset the esc then he noticed the motor was wired up wrong think im getting use to it now crashed it twice at high speed both times It poped the pin out off the suspension arm. This whole topic has every possible variation of every part that would/could fit. Just sayin. But yes, that servo will fit. Though, there is nothing wrong with the stock servo. theknowing Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 Mine doesn't wheelie ive changes to a bigger pinion gear and a smaller spur gear and keep the battery towards the front so it keeps the nose down. Also ive adjusted the slipper clutch outwards so its just enough not to damage the spur gear. I get 47 mph out of a 2s need a bigger road I could probs get 65 70 ish or more on 3s. theknowing Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) that's why im not putting a 3s init unless I gear down anyways you don't even know what size gears ive put in lol ive used 21 tooth pin gear and a 83 tooth spur its sweet I could have gone for more bigger pinion and smaller spur but I think that's a nice balance. Its not much different than the stock gear setup but it makes a big difference. Jamesy17 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Hello everyone im new to this forum and fairly new to rc i have a e firestorm flux and a wr8 abu dhabi flux and afew others to name afew (nitro) I have just bought a orion 11.1v 4600mah 90c lipo battery and i am wondering if this battery would be ok to use in both my flux cars? With the battery being such a high C rating is likley that it will damage my cars motor and or esc? Both cars are standard.
