hello there guys

I'm looking around for someone in the UK to paint 2 bodies for me.

ive painted my own shells before, but i want these to be top notch, they are 2 Ford Escort shells, and are hard to come by.

looking for replica rally paintwork on them, so if you know anyone up to doing a better job than i can manage, then drop me a note below.

cheers

Steve

Just wondering what paint have you used in the past,I have used Tamiya but people have told me their rattle cans work good.

I have used Pactra and it never really sticks that good and chips off when you roll the truck,I have found Parma Faskolor works great and never chips off what so ever and only comes off when the body rub's the chassis,I have also found a Badger Airbrush does not work that well with this paint as it's thicker even if you fill the bottle to the top with water I use a Paasche VL with the medium tip and it spray really nice and the needles don't bends like the badgers as everyone is always bent and is a big joke at most Hobby Shop's in Canada about how badger is only going to release 1 needle that is perfect and if the person turns it in they will 1 million dollars.

Hi bud if it the shells from retro racing in Finland I'm sure you need a special paint as some lexan paint makes them brittle an they break so easy. Do a google search I'm sure I've read on tc yr or so ago about them. They have been re done now an come pre painted in rothmans livery done by rally legends .
