Does anyone on here play VRC Pro?

I'd really to like to get VRC Pro but at the moment I only have a Mac Book Pro so I would have to get something called "boot camp" if I want to run it?

Will I be ok playing VRC Pro on my Mac Book Pro or will I be better off getting a gaming PC? If the latter, are there any computer guys on here?

My knowledge is pretty limited when it comes to gaming PC's. All I want the gaming PC for it to play VRC Pro if my Mac Book Pro isn't suitable. I'm not sure how much or how little I need to spend.

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Im not sure what sort of specs mac books have in terms of use in games as mac books are seldom used for it.

so if you are pretty adamant in playing VRC pro id look at picking up a laptop or PC, dont need amazing specs to play it but id budget around

If I bought a laptop or PC it would be purely to play VRC Pro on as I already have a Xbox & Playstation. If only VRC Pro was available of those consoles! The only gaming laptops I've heard of, thanks to the Big Bang Theory is Alienware.

I played it on my laptop which is a pavillion G series, not very good for gaming at all however was fine on the right settings, however the nitro buggies it struggled with and thats a cheap laptop

just to give a couple of examples, VRC pro isnt the most intensive game out there but just choosing 2 random "gaming" builds both of these will not have an issue playing the game at all, the desktop would be more ideal if you wanted to play other games as well

Cool, so my Mac Book Pro should be ok if I get boot camp.

Yes it will be you may just need to tweak the settings to suit your mac, mine are lowered a little bit to insure a steady frame rate but still looks great!

A Mac running bootcamp runs any piece of software as well as a windows pc with similar spec, if not slightly better due to higher quality components

Is there different versions of bootcamp? I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll look into this bootcamp further.

Nice one, it does look great. Can you race electric 1/10 2wd buggy's?

The SV2 is a great buggy

The KF is also very good but unless Schumacher release it with the low grip chassis, I'd look at the Team Associated B5M.

Yeah i will look around before i buy a new one but the B5M looks good aswell
