after looking at the redcat they only use an EZ run 150a ESC and a 980kv motor, and at a price of only $800 its not to bad but would guess that would have to be upgraded as soon as it goes up in smoke to the new castle system or one of the other 8S+ capable ESC's out there

Look at the chassis, it doesn't have a lot of metal in it (top and botton decks, towers and thats it). Its not going to weigh that much because it was designed to be electric, not a converted petrol chassis.

Its more of a scaled up 1/8th buggy. It won't take a lot of power to make it quick. :good:

anybody know who the UK distributer is and when its out. been watching some youtube vids of the redcat version and it looks quick. 40 mph in a 1:5 electric is pretty good.

I can't see why Carson have downgraded teh ESC from 150A to 125A.

I would have thought a 150A would be barely more expensive really, and would offer some other options on motors as well as a bigger margin for safety.

Either way..I like the looks of it. Durability will be a question...but no reason to think it will be rubbish.

also they are a bit over price when you compare it to the ones that redcat sell $799 and that is for the one that costs 999euros

also the more expencive one has a 150a ESC while the cheaper one has a 80A ESC
