snoopystorm
I'm thinking of upgrading my Tamiya TT-01 and was wondering where I should start. At the moment it is currently a standard set-up. I'm thinking along the lines of changing the power supply from Nimh to Lipo to start with, upgrading the motor (possibly brushless), changing the prop shaft to an aluminium shaft ( http://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamiya-tt-01e-aluminium-propeller-shaft/rc-car-products/34594 this one) and quite possibly a few other things depending on cost ie suspension Any ideas would be extremely helpful thanks
Alex97
Have a look on eBay for the upgrades as u can get them much cheaper but they will most likely be from China or the USA
UltimateRC
The aluminium prop shaft is probably a good upgrade when going to brushless. Also, try to upgrade the drivetrain before anything else as the drivetrain will be taking the most stress from brushless
snoopystorm
I'm thinking along the lines of this http://www.rcmart.com/yeah-racing-design-conversion-upgrade-version-tamiya-tt01-tt01e-cktt01ebu-p-28691.html?cPath=595_744_708 as the drive shaft comes as part of it, what ESC and motor would you suggest?? Looking through the combo packs on Modelsport and not really got a clue about what is best, what would fit etc
