  1. Hi there, welcome to the sale of my big motor Xmaxx. I have decided that due to it's size/battery requirements my big motor Xmaxx needs to go and be replaced with a smaller but still fun basher, thinking Arrma 6S kind of size. I don't really have anywhere near me where I can safely use the Xmaxx which isn't populated with very hittable people most of the time, or big enough to stretch it's legs. Anyway, this is a mostly stock Xmaxx with a big motor mount/mod 1.5 25/30 gearing, Rocket 59110 800KV motor, Max 5 esc on Skookum RC plate, massive Qs8-s connectors and output drive rings. Still has the original Traxxas receiver/tranny in it. Truck is overall in good condition for a bashing truck and has only ever seen lightish action as you can see from the pics/tyre wear. Has crazy instant torque and will wheely on about 15% throttle. 😂 It has had two runs on the present brushless system and haven't had any issues, it's about the cheapest way of putting a huge motor in an Xmaxx but it does appear to work pretty well! If you want the truck as is with present brushless system it's £500 + postage and fees and I'll throw in the 4S Zee 6500 80c packs. For an extra £150 I'll send it with the complete stock brushless setup and gearing should you wish to swap it back. Of course should you wish to discuss any other configuration such as a roller or with Max5 only or back to stock totally then hit me up in the PMs, I'm pretty flexible. Cheers for reading.
  2. HPI Savage XS Flux 1/10 Mini Monster Truck *tonnes of spares and batteries* | eBay ***SOLD*** HPI Savage XS Flux 1/10 Mini Monster Truck *tonnes of spares and batteries*. This Savage XS is as it's name suggest; an absolute beast. I had this on 2s the whole time I owned it and had so much trouble keeping it on 4 wheels that I didn't bother going for the 3s! The power is insane. It comes with 5 x 5300mah 30-60c Turnigy Nano-tech lithium polymer batteries. These are of varying ages, but don't have any bowing or expansion. I've tested charging 2 of them recently and ran them through a full discharge no problem. I've ALWAYS balance charged them and after EVERY session we put them into storage voltage. So they should be good to go once fully charged again. They are a couple of years old though so can't claim that they are in perfect condition, but they'll be absolutely fine for a good number of bashing sessions! Comes with a 2/3s lipo single battery balance charger, you'll probably want to look at getting a multi charger if you're going to use them a lot. Definitely worth the money, but to get you running, the single battery balance charger will work perfectly. This sale comes with absolutely everything you need to get going. Nothing else required. Just charge the stored batteries to full capacity and off you go! I have also included a firesafe charging pouch. I've never had any issues with charging but always better safe than sorry. I have included 2 shells, the original that came with the car and an unpainted Chevrolet El Camino SS body. The original body is in okay condition, bit scratched up, but generally good. Especially good considering how often this thing ends up on its roof! I have always covered the body with electrical tape to avoid the worst of the damage as I advise you do, otherwise you'll be buying a new shell really quickly! I've included a picture of the shell with all the protection tape on and you can see the condition that the tape gets into so Its definitely worth covering those areas. The shell will come with all tape removed at the moment and you can see what condition it is in in the photos. Few scratches and scrapes, but not worn through anywhere still solid. The 2nd unpainted shell is the El Camino SS. We bought it as my son loved police vehicles when he was young and we were planning on decking it out in police colours and adding the police decals. So there is a full set of original el camino decals and a full set of police decals. As well as a police light that we intended to fit to the new body, but never quite got around to. I did fit an additional connector to the ESC and it is programmed to work, so if you fit the lights to the extra connector that's attached to the body they do light up. I have a short video of them working if anyone wants to see it. I have recently replaced the whole clutch and all bearings in the gearbox. The slipper plates were worn, so I stripped the whole gearbox, replaced both clutch plates and the slipper pads, as well as regreasing and replacing every bearing in the gearbox. So should be in excellent condition. There are a TONNE of extras and spares coming with this as you can see in the photos. The most important being the cup joints for all 4 wheels. This thing churns through these like butter! But they are really easy to replace. I've also included 3 tiny drive shaft grub screws as these have a tendency to fall out! I've Loctited in the existing one, but they always find a way to work free, and that'll end your session right there as you lose drive. But with the 3 spares, you should have no problem. I have also included a spare ESC, but I can't actually remember if it fits or not! I bought it a while back as the main ESC had failed and I was waiting on a replacement OEM one but bought that to use in the interim from the local hobby shop. But I can't remember if I ever actually fitted it! The OEM one arrived quite quickly so I may never have bothered! It comes with a spare set of original tyres and inserts, 2 of which are used 2 of which are brand new. The tyres that are on it now are not original, they are actually a good bit smaller than the original ones, but the grip on these tyres is so much better. They were upgraded and had to be pulled over the existing wheels, so they are a snug fit to say the least, but the level of grip these ones give compared to the OEM tyres is 2nd to none. I would probably move back to larger tyres once these ones wear through just to get a better fit, but for now they will give you tonnes of grip and some great fun. The wheels have been superglued to the tyres a few times so you can see the remnants of that on the rims of the wheels, but this doesn't affect them at all and they are all solid with no cracks or issues. This little thing is an absolute beast so much so that it's quite difficult to keep it on the ground. It will flip and spin at the slightest touch! So be wary!
  3. Hi everyone not been on here for ages but selling my et410 as its not getting enough use. not kept up with the hobby so not sure what to ask for it as i know the 410.2 is out but cant find any of these sold or for sale as a reference so ive listed on ebay with offers and im currently asking £388.88 with free shipping (offers). Payment via paypal goods and services or through ebay only. Ebay Link:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155466028694?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=u2vj5zq0tro&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=u2vj5zq0tro&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Here we have my Tekno et410 RC Car Including Esc And Motor. All you’ll need to get this going is a battery, charger, remote and receiver + miscellaneous body clips etc. I have a 4200mah 2s battery that can be included but collection only from Liverpool if you want that with it. So I have had this car for the past few years (purchased used). I purchased it as I want an et48 at some point but had sold my traxxas mini erevo and 1/8 erevo so needed something to use while I waited for the right et48. Then this popped up for sale as a roller so I purchased it and in the end decided to keep it for a bit and hold of on the et48. So I added a hobby wing max 10 motor and esc and ran it on 4s for a while which is extremely fast😂. Then I purchased a 2s shorty pack and I was using an adapter for a while but accidentally reversed the connectors and shorted the esc out. So I purchased a new esc again and replaced it. So that’s why their is 2 esc boxes. I’ve been using it occasionally since then but it’s been used as a basher just in fields not really jumps or anything and had a chassis cover on for most of the time. So as a result of this just from driving on damp grass their is a bit of surface rust on some of the screws etc. I’m just not using it any more and hate seeing it sat unused. So I stripped it down yesterday and gave it a light cleaning so isn’t too bad now but I normally completely strip my rc’s down when I first get them and clean them so you may prefer to do that too. Comes with just the one blue lead finger shell which does have some cracks/dents and the body holes are slightly too large. I did have another shell that I made myself but it got damaged so just the one shell unfortunately. Comes with all the electronics boxes and box for car and building instructions too and a few other bits that you can see in the photos like extra wires etc. The only few things I can fault other than the light surface rust is one motor wire has a cut in just the insulation (Caused when I first fitted it) and some of the drive shaft pins are a bit worn and the rear wheel bearings probably haven’t got loads of life left in them but other than that it’s a good little car and I’ll be sad to see it go but just hate seeing it gathering dust. Will be sent fully covered for the value and may have to send the car and box/wheels separately. What you will receive: Tekno et410(not 410.2) x1 Hobbywing ezrun Max 10 esc and motor x1 Set of proline Dirt Hawg x1 Set of Schumacher Minipins x1 Set of proline BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 x1 Tekno et410 Leadfinger racing shell x1 Thanks for reading
  4. Kyosho Inferno Neo 1/8th Nitro buggy *upgraded controller and tonnes of spares* | eBay **NOW SOLD** ebay auction went for £132 to a local guy. **COLLECTION ONLY** Location is Coatbridge, Scotland. ML5 Kyosho Inferno Neo 1/8th Nitro buggy *upgraded controller and tonnes of spares*. Auction starts at £150 but I'd take £175 for everything. I am selling our Kyosho Inferno Neo 1/8th scale buggy as it was initially bought for both my son and I to use together, but he's getting past the age of wanting to associate with parents any more! We have rode this buggy for hours over the last few years but it's just not getting the use it used to. I have fully tested it out in the past few days, tweaking the brakes and idle throttle so it's running really well right now. I can provide a video of it in action if anyone wants to see it running. The engine has been properly sealed and broken in when we purchased it. And the After run protection oil has been added after every run. This is collection only as I can't ship it with the fuel. This comes with a plethora of bits and bobs that you can or may need for repairs or swap outs. There are 5 extra wheels that can be flung on for spares in case of any damage. The tyres on the spares are slick. But the actual wheels are solid. The tyres that are on it now are nearly new with plenty of grip, it's also quite a soft compound so fantastic for off-road. If I want to use it on concrete or tarmac, I stick the slicks on as the compound of the current tyres is designed to be kept off road and will wear down really quickly if used on solid surfaces. But then skidding those around is half the fun! It also comes with an upgraded controller, the Kyosho Syncro KT-331P with inbuilt LCD. There are 3 Glow Starters, 1 cheap battery operated one for emergencies, and two Annsmann Glow Plug Starters, an 1800mah and a 3000mah. All tested and working. Additionally there are two spare glow plugs, one which has been used for testing and one that is unopened, but the one that's inside the engine works perfectly at the moment anyway so they are both spares. Basically this bundle includes EVERY SINGLE THING that is required to run this car, I'll even leave the batteries in the controller and the main electronics. That's all the good stuff, now the not so good: The wheels, whilst solid and with good tyres, have a good bit of paint flaking on them all. As you can see from the pictures. Also as this has been well used over the years, the bottom skid plate has lots of expected wear and tear. It is still absolutely solid as it's really thick so the wear is all cosmetic and doesn't affect the car at all. And lastly, some of the smaller nuts and bolts are slightly rusted, not to the extent that they are locked on or anything just some discolouration. Again nothing that affects the car or it's use at all, but just wanted to be transparent when selling. We've had TONNES of fun sliding this thing about over the years and it's as solid as a rock! It's also VERY fast and will give you no end of enjoyment. Bundle Includes: 1 x 1/8th scale Genuine Kyosho Inferno Neo Nitro buggy. 2 x spare Glow Plugs 1 x Glow Plug starter - battery operated 1 x Ansmann Glow Plug Starter 1800mah with charger 1 x Ansmann Glow Plug Starter 3000mah with charger 1 x 2.5 Litre Optimix RTR 25 OptiFuel Nitro Fuel (Brand new unopened) 7 x spare hex wheel nut 2 x spare suspension arms 2 x spare suspension shafts 2 x spare rear hub carrier 1 x Fuel Filler Bottle with easy access directional spout 1 x HPI Racing Air Filter Oil 1 x Factory Team 35 weight suspension shock fluid 1 x HPI Racing After Run Oil 1 x Glow plug removal tool. 1 x standard Kyosho Syncro KT-200 RC Controller 1 x upgraded Kyosho Syncro KT-332P LCD controller 1 x Grey / yellow Kyosho Inferno Neo shell 5 x spare various wheels and tyres 1 x spare air filter sponge 5 x spare bearings

  7. Hi, I bought this as an interim motor, when I got it, it was making weird noises. Previous owner did say it use to cog but then he was running a large pinion so nothing awry or abnormal there. Anyway I could feel some resistance so opened it up and found signs of water ingress and dirt and a washer stuck inside...most likely the culprit of cogging previous owner had and the noise increased with RPM so it wasn't very obvious. Although when you have had a SR20DET die from engine knock in the past you're somewhat paranoid about noises from a motor 🤪 Anywho, I cleaned it up, put the washers and bearings where they should be, used Mercedes bearing grease on bearings and fired it back up and it works. No more weird noises. I don't have a ESC to test it on before sending out, well I do but I don't want to resolder it for the sake of testing this. It definitely worked before I put it away. In light of its history and not knowing if it's on borrowed time, how about £15 posted? If no takers I'll shove it on eBay as spares and repair. Edit: I think this is yet another rebranded Surpass Hobby motor.
  8. This is in great condition and just rebuilt. Fully rtr with 150amp esc, 4 pole brushless motor, Absima radio and Hobao servo. Just add your own battery. Has a few nice Pro upgrades such as centre spider diff, chassis, chassis braces, rear UJ's and alloy wing braces. The shell has been converted from a nitro and has few splits but plenty of life left in it for bashing. After £275 posted.

  12. Hi I am selling the following: Interest from forum members highlighted in red below, however in fairness to all, please let me know if you are also interested in case anyone changes their mind, thanks. OK Right in fairness to all I am going to sell the below to those with 2nd dibs if no replies received by Weds 5th Oct lunch time. Thanks. Traxxas Velenion Brushless Motor 380 £35 (Forum member drt 36 is deciding on combo) (2nd dibs to Nicko)SOLD Please note the following bullet connection heat shrinks have slightly worn, I always covered with eletrical tape. The velenion sticker coming unstuck where the heat sinks have rubbed. (Currently the motor mount is attached as my hex drive has worn but will detached if sold separately). 2 x Blue Heat Sink with Custom Fan £7(Forum member drt 36 is deciding on combo) (2nd dibs to Nicko)SOLD The fan is off a PC so the pug does not fit, I have spade the the plastic to expose & connect the wires, worked perfectly well for me. The heat sinks have marks where the fan has been attached by the screws, however you can not see when the fan is attached. Traxxas VXL 3m esc £35 SOLD SUBJECT TO PAYMENT PAYMENT RECEIVED SOLD (2nd dibs to Nicko) Again the bullet connection heat shrinks have slightly worn, I always covered with tape. The receiver plug end I have cut the spline off as I used an extension cable so when removing the ESC I did not need to open up the receiver box, none of this affects the ESC's performance. HobbyKing 60a ESC + Fan with custom plastic plate £25 (Forum member drt 36 is deciding on combo, otherwise 2nd dibs to Forum member The Rat).SOLD This ESC can run 4s Lipos, Traxxas plug fitted + a fan with a separate extension cable to plug in to the receiver box, you can pug directly into the ESC but I preferred a separate power source. As you can see in the photos I have made a custom plastic plate which sits where the receiver box is in the MERV, a bit of creative cutting & re-arranging receiver/ESC & it fits. The plastic corners of the ESC have tiny hair line cracks where screwed in, does not affect the unit. STNC Motor Mount & Plate metalic red £10(Forum member drt 36 is deciding on combo) (2nd dibs to AJ) Again in the photos, each of these are attached to the MERV & motor as my hex drivers need replacing, but will obviously detach in due course. All in good condition, just slight markings. I have described everything as best as I can, any questions feel free to ask, (I maybe selling some lipos too, not sure yet!). PayPal only PayPal Address Only UK Only No Returns Thanks for looking Prices are including postage & fees, only exception may be some Scottish areas.
  13. Hi folks, I have 1 spare set of these custom made SPI "Pro Stock" Monster Truck/Truggy wheels for sale. A group of us on MSUK bulk ordered 10 sets direct from SPI in the States, these are the only set left without someones name on... Could be yours! Made from Billet 6061-T6 Aluminium for ultimate strength, they come with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer against any form of breakage. If they do ever bend or break then SPI will happily make you another one. They are for 17mm wheel hexes, fit standard 3.2 inch Monster Truck/Truggy tires and have 1 inch of offset, so give your truck a nice wide stance and increased stability, which is especially good for big trucks going at high speeds! For anyone interested, they weigh in at 105g each. So, less than half the weight of your average MT tire, and 25g lighter than the only other MT wheels that I've got (HPI Tremors, which are big admittedly...). These are AWESOME WHEELS, very, very tough and really rather nice on the eye too!! Pics (click on image to enlarge)- There's some pics of the same wheels on a truck with tires on here- http://www.msuk-foru.../page__st__1290 SOLD Payment via PP, you pay fees, or bank transfer. Cheers, Lawrence. EDIT- These are drilled for 5mm axles, like you find on a stock Savage etc. but they can be drilled out to fit on any MT or Truggy, using a simple press drill. There is a metal fabricating company local to me who will do this professionally for a small fee, please contact me if you'd like me to find out an exact price.
