  1. Hi all, I'm new to lipo batteries, and need a basic and relatively cheap lipo battery charger (under £30 preferrably). I only really need it to charge one battery at a time, but I need one that I can select the amps on, as I don't want to be charging a 4000mah battery all day. There are so many to choose from I am thoroughly confused. Any recommondations please? Thank you
  2. I'm looking at TRX-4 Sport if it is any good. Regarding a 3rd party battery & charger for it, is there such one? I was reading about Traxxas's own iD connector and it doesn't say anything about 3rd party batteries with old TRX plug that would work TRX-4 sport? I already have a charger but it seems a bit wasteful to get a new Traxxas charger and a Traxxas battery, just for use with its own cars & trucks.
  3. Due to recently having a baby and no longer having the time to bash I may as well sell my charger. This is a cracking piece of kit and actually very rare being the 4x100w version. There was only a limited run of these before Horizon reduced the spec to 4x50w. Fully working and in excellent condition. Comes with 4x balance boards and a few leads as seen in the pics. Specs: https://www.horizonhobby.com/product/prophet-sport-quad-4-x-100w-ac-dc-charger/DYNC2050.html £170 posted, please include fees if paying with Paypal. Cheers!
  4. Hi, can someone please tell me what sort of plug this is please? What does it fit. It’s on a 12v quick charger I have found in a box of stuff. thanks Richard
  5. Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I've been looking online for some information about the settings for the core rc uac 50 charger. I've had it for a couple of years but I couldn't get my Nimh batteries to last longer than a few minutes with it, I suspect I had some settings wrong. After that I gave up on our RC cars and haven't looked at them for a while now. But a while ago I purchased a couple of Floureon 7.4V 30C 5400mah batteries instead, then forgot about them and never used them yet. Looking through the settings it appears I set it to LiPo Balance 5.4A 7.4V (2s) and then go for it, does that sound about right? I've not done it yet till I see if I can get some advice. I'd also like some advice on the setup for my Nimh batteries to see if I can get them to work too, but one thing at a time. The current User Settings are as follows, I can't remember now what was the default values and what I might have played around with, and I can't find a way to factory reset the charger settings? USB/Temp Select - Temp Cut-Off - 80C Waste Time - Chg/Dchg - 60min Safety Timer On - 180min Capacity Cut Off - On - 3500mah Input Power Low Cut-Off - 10.0v LiPo V.Type 3.7v LiPo/LiLo/LiFE CHK Time - 10min Nimh Sensitivity D.Peak - Default NiCad Sensitivity D.Peak - Dealut.
  6. Hey all, I'm wanting to get into RC and I've bought my first RC Truck second-hand off of a friend. Now I just need to buy a decent charger. I want to charge 2S 5200mAh batteries but I'm not sure which charger to pick as I'm on a bit of a budget. I'm wondering if this IMAX clone will be any good? It looks like it has all of the proper connectors and that it'd be good to use (from reviews I've found), but I thought I'd double check first. Thanks! 7. Hi. Just got a new reaktor charger and am trying to charge my 4000ma 2s battery. So I've programmed it in the menu to charge lipo, 4A, balance charge press start and it says battery low and sounds a alarm and won't charge. The battery was flat obviously but where I've been waiting for the charger and power supply for so long cause of the virus I'm wondering if it's too flat to charge. Any help or advice is much appreciated! Thanks Terry
  8. My old charger setup, currently used as my back-up but just takes up space. Consists of a Fusion Twin 200W power supply, capable of powering 2 chargers, 1x Turnigy Max 80W charger and 1x Turnigy Accucel 6 charger. The green 80W charger has a slight mark on the screen which occurred during delivery to me and doesn't affect the operation of the charger. Some of the paint has worn off the Accucel from use - please study photos. Looking for £38 all in, tracked and insured
