    I need some help.... What calculations are there to consider when selecting a propeller?? RPM, Pitch, Diameter etc etc How does the 'X' number (i.e. X450 or X470) denote prop dimensions?

    Not soak it, get the dried and cleaned filter, place it in a plastic bag with some engine oil, squeeze the oil into the filter (not so it is dripping wet, just damp with oil) The oil just assists with trapping fine particles of dust.... I have used this method on my quad bike all the time without any problems, so I use the same method on my nitros too.....

    Not if you tune it right no.....!! If you read the manual, HPI recommend 20>25% fuel anyway......

    Air filter oil?? I just use normal car engine oil squeezed into a cleaned and dried filter (put in plastic bag to do it) - works for me....

    If you are using the standard '4 AA battery' holder thingy, put a small tyrap round the batteries to keep em in place......

    So, Have I got this right???? The submarine goes under the murky water of the local duck pond.....you twiddle with the remote's sticks for a bit (whilst people passing by give you strange looks) and HOPEFULLY it pops up some time later on the other side....... Hmmmmm, How those long winter nights must just fly by testing it in the bath.......LOL

    I am sure this has been asked before, but can one brand of TX be used with a different brand of RX assuming the same xtal is fitted in both?? i.e HPI 2ch 27meg TX with an Acoms 2ch 27 meg RX (same xtal fitted)
